Choose your dice well in Ganz schön clever to enter them into the matching colored area, put together tricky chain-scoring opportunities, and rack up the points. The dice you don't use are as important as what you do because every die that's smaller than the chosen one can be used by the other players, keeping everyone in the game at all times.
When browsing for some new games, this was a suggestion made to me if I enjoyed Yahtzee. I've played this a few times now and enjoy the chance mixed with some good planning.
When playing you need to plan for what you want to cross out, but also how many die will be left to roll for your next turn and then there are the rebound effects. Cross out one number and that may allow you to cross one out in a different section and so on (always fun when that happens).
This is a game that I have enjoyed enough to be on the lookout for the second game in this series.
This game is a real point salad with multiple ways to get points. Often by doing one action you can do several others which is really rewarding. I love roll and writes and this is one of the best ones out there.
