King of Tokyo is a game from Richard Garfield for 2 to 6 players in which you will be able to play mutant monsters gigantic robots and other aliens all of whom are happily whacking each other in a joyous atmosphere in order to become the one and only King of Tokyo.
Sometimes you just want to roll some dice, get some crazy results and smash your opponents. King of Tokyo more or less takes the idea of Yahtzee style dice rolling and puts it into a battle royal between kaiju (think Godzilla, King Kong, Mothra etc.). The last monster standing, or the first monster to get 20 victory points wins the game. If you know what you're getting into, this game is a lot of silly fun and always goes down great with kids.
My son loves this game! Chuck the dice, and decide what to keep: do you want to wound everyone else? Heal yourself? Try and get power tokens? Try and get victory points? Like Yahtzee, You have 3 dice rolls to make your choices. Last man standing is the winner! Great fun for the family - unless you are first dead! Lol
