Mrs. Plumpert’s prized pot pie has gone missing, and now it’s a chicken chase to crack the case!
Move around the board to gather clues and then use the special evidence scanner to rule out suspects. You’ll have to work together quickly because the guilty fox is high-tailing it towards the exit! Will you halt the hungry hooligan before it flies the coop... or will you be Outfoxed?
We have a LOT of cooperative games in our house; this is the 1st one I pull out if a young child (5-6) comes over. There is hardly any reading in the game apart from the names of the foxes so ideal for non or early readers. It's great because you're working together to stop the fox from getting away with the pot pie into their fox hole. You have to work together to spread out to find clues and reveal suspects. To catch the fox, you have to work which of the 16 suspects is the guilty fox. Each fox has combination of 3 items unique to itself, for example, a top hat or umbrella or scarf. There's an awesome clue decoder that shows you whether an item is relevant to the culprit fox and kids love to use it. If an item e.g. a scarf is "green" in the clue decoder, that means that the culprit has a scarf, so you start looking for only foxes with scarves. You also eliminate foxes without scarves and that's a bit of inverse logic that the kids learn with the game as well.
